Our mission
The Action Teams Against Pimping have the mission offight against procuring and thetrafficking in human beings.
The Association operates in 3 areasare:legal,socialandsensitization.
Legal mission
First, sheconstitutes a civil partyin pimping cases and offers alegal support for victimswho can be represented by one of ourcollaborating lawyers, at our cost.
Social mission
Likewise, asocial supportis offered to victims to help them in their reintegration.
Sensitization
For more than 50 years, the EACP have organizeddebates, of theconferencesandconferenceson the fight against procuring and human trafficking. She also leads awareness training for high schools and universities.
Our vision
ABOLITIONIST
Our Association isabolitionist, indeed, we position ourselvesversus prostitution and we consider that prostitutes arevictimsabove all.
PROHIBITED WORD
We ban from our vocabulary the term “sex work”.
LISTENING
WHY?
In prostitution, evenfree", theconsent is not symmetric. The buyer agrees to give a sum of money in exchange for sexual services. The seller (or seller) consents in fact to deliver byeconomic necessityrepeated unwanted sex with an indefinite number of strangers. She consents to a repeated intrusion into her most intimate bodily experience.
You have to keep in mind that sex is not a trivial activity, like manual or intellectual work can be when it is done in the right conditions.
In humans, unwanted sex is deeplytraumatic; they often cause an impressionof strangenessto oneself. If the law characterizes rape, even without physical harm, as violence, it is not only because the victim does not consent, but also because it isintrusionin his sexual intimacy that is imposed on him.
